Fear...

We all fear something in life. A conversation yesterday with my dad's good friend confirmed this theory for me. He is someone who puts on a very brave face all the time, but to have him say that he was scared of something was not what I had expected.

He was scared of death, of the fact that he would have let his loved ones deal with life themselves and alone.

Letting few very dear people go would be a very painful thing to do, but that is the only certainty of life. Everything is going to change, people, relationships and everything else that we all hold on to very dearly. Its difficult, having seen people go through that loss has changed me and my perception towards death.

I read this article in a magazine today. It said people who communicated their feelings about death actually felt better while facing it. Interviews of terminally ill patients who are living the last few days of their life have planned how their remaining life should be and also how their death should be!! They must be such brave people. But they leave this world content, happy that they know everyone is going to be fine after they've left and that they made this happen.God give them the strength they need and may their souls RIP.
